My Dad eats oats every morning to help his pressure
No medicine cures high blood pressure it just holds it down and keeps it under control, if you stop taking your medication your blood pressure will go up.
according to my mom who has a high blood pressure alum can lower her pressure
naturally just eat lot of cucumber
Probably Diovan. It’s the major blood pressure pill out in the world today.
Go natural, try good old garlic (minced) into your daily diet and it will help to lower your blood pressure and cholesterol level too!
take low pressure tablets to counter act the high blood pressure! you may explode but it’ll look good!
You cannot cure high blood pressure. A lot of people think you can because when they take medication, it lowers the blood pressure, so they think they are cured and quit the medication. THEN the blood pressure goes way up again.
The doctor decides what medication you should take. Some times it takes a few tries to get the right medicine. Everyone is different. It also depends on your age, weight, activity, job, stress
and your medical history.
I have high blood pressure. I have had it since I was about eighteen years old. Mine is heredity. All three of my children have it too. It doesn’t matter what we do, diet, exercise, nothing
will change it. As long as we stay on our medications, we are fine. Untreated it can cause strokes, heart attacks and many other medical problems.
High blood pressure is called the silent killer because most people do not any symptoms. My children and I can tell when ours is elevated, but I guess others can’t. It is nothing to mess with, it is a very serious disease.
While many people say this is incurable, some people are cured by losing weight (if overweight) through exercise or diet (less salt). Pills can only control blood pressure, not cure it.
Whatever the theory, you have to control your blood pressure if you wish to live a long healthy life, and not living with stroke paralysis or shortness of breath due to heart disease.
beta blockers and statins are commonly used.
Warfarin(trade name Comuidin)is used to stop blood clotting not to lower raised blood pressure.

There are medicines to control blood pressure, but none to cure it. Those who are able to go off the meds have done so by working very hard to change their diet and by getting more exercise.
Medications may include diuretics (an agent which increases the flow of urine), beta-blockers (Beta-blockers control the speed and force of heart beats by blocking the action of hormones such as adrenaline that make the heart beat faster and more vigorously. They are effective in preventing angina. They can also lower raised blood pressure , reduce the risk of further heart attacks and help control abnormal heart rhythms.), calcium channel blockers(calcium antagonists reduce the amount of calcium entering the muscle cells of the ateries causing them to relax) , angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs), or alpha blockers. Medications such as hydralazine, minoxidil, diazoxide, or nitroprusside may be required if the blood pressure is very high.
Please see the webpages for more details on Hypertension.
There are lots of different kinds of anti-hypertensives available.
Diuretics – work by lowering the volume of fluid in your body, so there will be less pressure.
Calcium channel blockers – function by reducing the force of the heart’s contraction.
Beta blockers – mainly reduce the cardiac output, that is reduce the volume of blood forced out by each heart beat so reducing pressure.
ACE inhibitors – work in many ways within the body but in real terms reduce the resistance of the arteries to blood & ilower BP.
Alpha blockers – these work by reducing the alpha adrenergic activity of the blood vessels, which in real terms means they bring about low blood pressure (of course if your BP is already high, it will normalise it).
AIIRA – prevent the pathway of BP elevation by blocking a receptor, so act cleanly in lowering a patient’s BP.
Some drugs can be combined (up to 4 different types!) and so blood presssure can be lowered effectively & with minimal side effects.
As 95% pf people with high BP have this for no reason, it can’t actually be cured unfortunately. It should be treated though, as high BP over a long period of time can cause damage to the brain, heart & kidneys (amongst other organs!).
No medicine can cure high blood pressure, but there are prescription medicines that can control it. Ask your doctor.
Warfarin. It’s also used to kill rats. Strange but true!
